Wente’s Open Wheel Restaurant & Saloon owner Terry Wente, member of the McCluer Class of 1973, donated 20% of the July 24, 2010 night's procedes to the McCluer Class of 1973 to help with future reunions. Thanks Terry!

Reunion was great, I never laughed so hard reminiscing about ol times, so good to see everyone, and so many new "grandparents". Can't wait til next year! Thank you for the awesome website.

May 17, 2010 meeting - notes
Monday evening, May 17 at Wente’s…we really didn’t have much to plan, but we always have a good time! Everyone looking forward to the get together in July! Thanks! Connie
March 22, 2010 meeting - notes
Hi All,
Well, we met at Wente’s last night and had a great meeting. There were 10 of us (including Terry) to talk about what we want to do this summer.
The get together date is Saturday, July 24, 5:30pm - ?., at Wente’s Open Wheel Restaurant & Saloon, 18000 Chesterfield Airport Road, Chesterfield, MO. Terry will be ready for us…he’s going to call Joe to let him know what kind of deal he can give us (happy hour prices?). Everyone will be on their own, paying for their own food/drinks (like last year).
We also decided to invite alumni from the class of ’72 and ’74 to the reunion. Just by word of mouth, and on the website. I don’t think there will be very many that come from the other classes (we don’t think they even have reunions anymore), but we hear from people of other classes so thought it would be nice. Obviously, we want to get as many folks as we can from our class, so we will put it on the website, and I will send out a broadcast email (in the next few weeks) to all the email addresses I have on our “master” list, and follow up with a reminder when it gets close to the event. Terry said his place could handle everyone. He has an area outside that is covered by a tent, if we would need to use that for overflow, or if it is just a nice evening and people want to be outside.
So…now that we have a date let’s get the word out. Any ideas on other ways to reach our alumni, let us all know.
NEXT COMMITTEE MEETING: We scheduled another meeting for Monday evening, May 17 at Wente’s…we really don’t have much to plan, but we always have a good time when we get together so we might as well go over everything at that point, and enjoy the evening!
